For the kid who needs the list to go away
Some children see nine chores and do none of them. Focus mode shows one thing at a time with a time ring, a Now/Next view, and nothing else on screen. It's a per-device switch โ one child can use it while everyone else sees the standard board โ and you can make it the household default.

The PIN is four digits and it's verified on the server, not in the app. One unlock lasts an hour. Being a parent is separate from knowing the PIN โ an existing parent grants it, and nobody can grant it to themselves.
About chores and rewards
Can a child add their own chore?
Yes, and it lands pending. You get a review sheet โ approve it and it joins the board properly, with whatever payout you set. It's a good way for a kid to claim credit for something they actually did without being able to invent an allowance.
Do I have to use money?
No. You can run stars only, screen time only, dollars only, or all three. The banks are optional and a family that never opens them never sees them.
What happens on a device that isn't a phone โ the wall tablet?
In wall mode, ticking today's chore still works for anyone standing there. Everything else silently asks for the parent PIN, so the tablet on the wall can't be used to change settings or move money.
Is the chore history kept?
Yes โ a plain-language feed of who completed what and who added what, each with a timestamp. It sits behind the parent PIN. It exists to end arguments, not to build a performance record.
