Three things that are unusual about this
The free tier has no ads
Free family organisers usually pay for themselves by selling your attention. This one doesn't have an ad network, doesn't build advertising profiles, and doesn't sell anything to anyone.
One plan, not three
There's no Gold and Max, no assistant sold separately, no per-feature add-ons. If it's paid, it's in the Family Plan, and the Family Plan is one price.
Accessibility is not a tier
Calm Mode — one thing at a time, durations you can see, a quiet transition warning — is free on every plan. We are not going to charge a family for the shape of screen their child can use.
Per family, not per seat

Billing, plainly
Is it per person or per family?
Per family. One subscription covers up to 10 profiles across every iPhone, iPad, Android device and the tablet on your wall. Adding a child, a grandparent or another tablet costs nothing.
What happens if I stop paying?
You drop back to the free plan. The board, the calendar, the lists, the wall display and your whole history keep working exactly as they did. Reward goals, the banks, meal planning and the recipe box go quiet — nothing is deleted, and everything is where you left it if you come back.
Is there a trial?
Yes — 7 days free. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription at $4.99 a month, and renews monthly until you cancel. A brand-new family also gets 15 ✦ Magic reads to spend in its first 14 days. After the trial, the free plan still includes one Magic read every week, forever.
How do I cancel?
In your App Store account settings. We can't cancel it for you because we never see your payment details, and refunds follow the store's own policy.
Do you charge for the wall display?
No. It's on the free plan and it runs on a tablet you already own. There's no hardware to buy and nothing to unlock.
Will the price change?
If it ever does, existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at for as long as their subscription runs without a break.
Do you offer anything for larger or blended families?
Ten profiles covers most, including two-home setups where kids move between houses. If you need more, email hello@happyherd.app and we'll sort something out.
